Litquidity is seeking an intern for the Exec Sum daily newsletter.
First and foremost, this is largely a learning opportunity without the investment banking intern pay and does not guarantee a path towards a full-time job or anything like that. You'll learn about newsletter operations at the ground level and a thing or two about the meme machine / finance!
About: We're setting out to disrupt the finance landscape brick by brick. One pillar we're tackling is financial news (primarily US-focused at the moment). The goal with the newsletter is to make investment banking, investing, and business news more entertaining and streamlined for current professionals in the industry and helpful for those trying to break in / just interested in the stock market in general.
Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for curating and summarizing market news and assisting in the general preparation of the daily newsletter, including finding the dankest (yet safe-for-work email) memes. The intern will also help manage Exec Sum social media properties on Instagram, Twitter, and others they think may be interesting to build out. Pretty straight forward.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a strong interest in the financial sector
- Enjoy following the stock market
- Be plugged into the meme game
- Be resourceful and creative
- Have good writing chops
- Be witty
Qualifications / expertise:
- Current undergrad at a reputable college, ideally pursuing a finance/accounting/economics degree
- Strong understanding of the Litquidity brand, voice, humor
- Attention to detail
- Bonus points if you have an audience on social media
Salary & Benefits:
- We'll get into that up front if you're picked from the screen... this isn't a large operation so we'll try to manage those expectations lol
